Nicolo Zingales is Professor of Information Law and Regulation at the law school of the Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Fascinated by the interaction of law, technology and markets, he researches on a range of issues revolving around the roles and responsibilities of digital platforms and intermediaries in the online ecosystem.His research has been cited, among others, by the OCDE, THE UN Special Rapporteur for the Protection and Promotion of Freedom of Opinion and Expression, the UK House of Lords, and the European Parliament.
