Jeffrey Bower

Jeffrey Bower is the founder of Bower & Partners, a boutique consulting firm focused on financial services and financial inclusion. With over 20 years of experience in the payments and fintech sector, Jeffrey is a recognized expert in designing and launching innovative and impactful digital payment solutions worldwide that enable financial inclusion and reduce the use of cash. His practice has delivered work for global clients such as the World Bank, IFC, Alliance for Financial Inclusion, the Better Than Cash Alliance, Scotiabank, and HSBC, and has worked on all continents. Most recently, Jeffrey was a Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he led new market development to scale the use of digital financial services across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, he acted as Payment Services Lead for the World Food Programme, where he built the next generation of payment products for recipients of the world’s largest humanitarian organization. Jeffrey has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Toronto, and speaks English, Spanish, and French.
